For the enjoyment of all visitors, and to ensure a memorable experience, advance registration is strongly recommended. Entry without advance ticket purchase is not guaranteed. Entry to the garden is by vehicle only, and parking is complimentary. Self-guided Garden Guides and maps are available at the ticket kiosk.

We are unable to return phone inquiries during the weekend when we are serving visitors on-site. We will respond to phone messages during office hours Monday through Friday.

The restored Main Terrace with partial views of the gardens is accessible to all visitors. The remainder of the historic landscape at Greenwood remains true to its original design with uneven terrain and stairs that can be difficult to navigate and therefore, is not wheelchair- or stroller-accessible. We do, however, offer accessible parking and public restrooms. We also offer stroller parking on the Main Terrace. Certified service animals are welcome.

Comfortable outdoor walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.

To help protect yourself against ticks, which are prevalent in New Jersey, please use tick spray and check yourself for ticks after leaving.
