Opening Soon

ENJOY OUR SPRING PROGRAMS
Short Hills and its surrounding communities were hard hit by winter storms and not surprisingly, Greenwood Gardens is one of many locations that have suffered from these unexpected natural events. Downed trees, broken limbs and branches, and crushed hedges, shrubs and fences are among the damages to the property.

Due to the impact of the winter’s storms, and based on the professional assessment of our tree expert, Greenwood’s opening has been delayed to allow time for necessary pruning and clean-up to be completed. We invite all members of the Greenwood community to check our website and Facebook page for daily updates on both when you’ll be able to stroll freely throughout the garden and our continuing program schedule. Spring Benefit & Luncheon Honoring Greenwood Trustee Louise Moos

Greenwood will be honoring Greenwood Trustee Louise Moos at our Spring Benefit and Luncheon in the garden on May 23. A long-time friend and supporter, Louise is a former educator who also was a principal of a landscape design company. Greenwood has been the beneficiary of her experience and wisdom which she has applied in her roles as an active member of our Executive and Governance Committees. A delicious lunch catered by Holly Guber, floral designs by Kathleen Bourke and Judy Yarnell, and a special silent auction are among the features of this special event to recognize such a valuable member of the Greenwood family.
