A Walk Through Greenwood’s Past

Join Greenwood staff and volunteers on a meandering garden tour that will highlight the century-long histories of two families, the impact of their varying styles and interests on the site’s architecture and landscape, and how their approaches shaped the Greenwood of today.
$10 members; $15 non-members and includes admission to the Garden

What’s In Bloom Walk

Join Greenwood’s Head of Horticulture, Sonia Uyterhoeven, for an exploration of the newly renovated gardens. Learn about Greenwood’s revised planting palette and the decision-making process that was used to inform its design.

Bee Life at Greenwood

With Joe Lelinho, Beekeeper, Hilltop Honey
Expert beekeeper Joe Lelinho will offer fascinating insights into the life within our beehives as he describes the roles of worker bees, drones, nurse bees, and queens, and how their behavior contributes to the success of the community. Joe will explain bee nomenclature, the steps required for keeping bees, and how everyone can help keep our apiarian friends safe. This tour will take place down at our barnyard which is home to six buzzing beehives.
$10 members; $15 non-members and includes admission to the Garden.

Walking and Talking Greenwood’s Trees

With Scott Lamm, Certified Arborist, Sav-A-Tree
Take advantage of Scott Lamm’s nearly 50 years of experience working with Greenwood’s marvelous tree collections and trees throughout our area. Scott will lead walkers on a tour to identify the varied species that grow here, as well as discuss how to care for them, detect potential dangers, and take steps to ensure long-term tree health.
